The Nook @ Tamarind Square

A cozy nature café offering a relaxing atmosphere. You can sit indoors or enjoy the fresh air outside. The indoor area has a bit of a kitchen smell due to the open kitchen, so we usually prefer outdoor seating. We have been here a few times—the food is delicious, but the quality can be hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes not.

Quiet and and cosy place to hang out. Love their croissant + hot chocolate set. Also their soup served inside a hard bread. Price just right. Will not be disappointed!

the foods were actually nice here, especially their mushroom soup is a must when u visit Nook! food served hot from kitchen and the service was quite fast, and i think I enjoyed it alot seems like eat with view. 5/5!! ⭐

The staff is very friendly, the food is good and atmosphere is calm. The view at top nice. I order the mushroom soup, jackfruit cake, ice lattle and mango freezy (I think), all taste good and unique. Overall recommended. One of best cafe at Tamarind for me. The only complain is the cafe bit cramp and limited table, but not fault of the cafe.

Nook Cafe is such a hidden gem. It’s in a quiet spot, so many people might miss the cafe, but the ambiance is really cozy and private. The food is always great and reasonably priced, and sometimes they even give free treats like a trial desserts or tea sample. I've been to this cafe several times now, and their food always slaps (I love the mushroom soup, pancakes, and grilled chicken). I really wish more people knew about this place

It is like a small hideout with pleasant surprise of the great food and ambience. I went here with kid and we ordered Pancake with ice cream, Chicken chop with mashed potatoes and their signature wild mushroom soup in a round bun. The bun really nice because it was crispy in perfection from the outside, but soft and in the inside and hold up the soup nicely like an edible cauldron. My daughter really enjoyed the “oh so fluffy pancake” with vanilla ice cream, butter, maple syrup, strawberry and blueberry. What else could go wrong? For drinks, we had strawberry tea and americano (in a big red cup) and it tasted good. Definitely will come back again since the price is reasonable !

Had brunch here last weekend. Superb food, the forest mushroom soup is to die for , soup in a bun amidst the foliage surrounding makes you forget the outside world for a moment. We also had the pancake and fish & chips...all worth the price and drive. Staff are friendly and polite, makes you feel at home. A must visit haven.

As the name suggested, it’s situated in a nook of the building. I came here by chance because I wanted to escape the early morning traffic and this was suggested by Google that opens at 7.30am nearby! When I reached, I almost gave up looking because I wasn’t familiar with Tamarind but fortunately, they played the cafe jazz music outside, loud enough for me to follow and found them! The service was good, the staffs were kind and friendly and they gave few recommendations and the meal was great, chef kiss! The location itself was small but comfortable enough to accommodate those that seeks quiet ambience to just catch up with friends and/or work. Also, they have quite a number of selection for tea! I look forward to come back and try other dishes. Keep up the good work :)
